INTRODUCTION
Dr. Li joined the Bio-X Institutes at Shanghai Jiao Tong University as a Changjiang Scholar in 2009 after working at The Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology, Singapore as an assistant professor and associate professor from 2001-2009. He has received the Career Enhancement Award of ASBMR and now serves as an associate editor of BMC Developmental Biology as well as editorial board members for several other journals. His research is supported by NSFC, 973 and Shanghai Pujiang program.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
Mesenchymal Stem Cell self-renewal, differentiation, and aging; Bone development and remodeling and pathogenesis of bone-related diseases; DNA damage response, aging and tumorigenesis.
