INTRODUCTION:
We dedicate our passion to developing systematic methodology through data-mining, literature-mining and in silico simulation for both hypothesis generation and biology discovery in the area of translational medicine.
Our ongoing research is to identify unexpected genetic factors involved in drug safety and drug efficacy through 1) utilizing the idiosyncracy of drugs sharing the same adverse reaction or therapeutic efficacy, and 2) evaluating the importance of some particular genes in the context of complex and fuzzy physiology environment symbolized rationally and quantitatively by weighted biological networks.
We do not give up the ambition to translate our methodologies into commercially available solutions or open source platforms, and collaborations at any level will be welcomed. We are expecting talents from all around the world to have further discussion, cooperation or coalition on all of the topics mentioned above, finally delivering personalized medicine to the public.
