INTRODUCTION:
       Dr Guo is a winner of Young Investigator of ASBMR (2005), Fellow Award for Research Excellence in NIH (2005), Shanghai Pujiang Talent (2008) and Chief Scientist of the project of State Key Development Program for Basic Research of China with theme of ¡°The molecular mechanisms underlying skeletal development and disorders¡± (Grant No. 2007CB947300).

RESEARCH INTERESTS:
       The mechanisms underlying skeletal development; Developing therapeutic strategies for bone diseases including osteoporosis and osteoarthritis; the role of miRNA in osteogenesis; the therapeutic exploring of mesenchymal stem cell in bone diseases treatment.
